PS3 fanboys nowadays are worse than even the most stereotypical, socially worthless PC fanboys. People have written articles about these mindless, unintelligent, ignorant and immature drones, and they’re all correct. I own a PS3, yet I find myself disliking exclusives like Uncharted 2, even though I’ve never played it. I have no urge at all to play it now, because of them. I’ve also never used my PS3 online, because of how pathetic the community is,
Why do these stupid fanboys have to ruin things for people? Really, would you want to play online with some basement dwelling, psychotic nerd who would chop his own dick off if someone at Sony asked him to? And just to show you how pathetic and delusional they are, they’ll mention either 360, Wii, or PC fanboys, as if insulting them could possibly better their low self-esteem. Oh, wait, but I mentioned that they’ll do it, now they won’t. Being stupid, they’re now confused and don’t know whether or not to insult fanboys of other systems.
Also, I own a gaming PC, a 360, a Wii and some older consoles as well. I’ve never come across people so pathetic that they caused me to dislike the product I paid for, as well as additions to that product. These people sicken me. I’m just glad I’ll never have to see them in reality, for obvious reasons…
Clearly it’s this new, and highly socially deprived generation of gamers, and they’ve all seemed to congregate on the PS3. Probably because these stupid little kids grew up on Sony consoles. Why the hell didn’t their mother’s just have an abortion?

lol umad.
From what I gathered about this rant, why single out PS3 fanboys? I too own a PS3, a gaming PC, and a 360. In my eyes, any fanyboy of anything ever should all be thrown into a pit where they are endlessly and uselessly argue over who possesses the superior inanimate object until everyone starves to death and the world is rid of these redundant bags of puke. That’s the bottom line. Fanboys PERIOD are all universally useless, none is better than the other, they all suck. All of them. Also, blanketing entire communities based on your non-experience is pretty ignorant.
Back your question, sometimes fanboys do affect my point of view on certain things. Although it generally doesn’t cause me to dislike the things they rave about, they do cause me to be highly skeptical. Upon entering a game and seeing it for myself, the things raved about are rarely all they are made up to be, or even close. In the end I usually end up experiencing something painfully mediocre (Halo, Gears of War) or something that according to my tastes; is all-around bad (Call of Duty, World of Warcraft). Someone can say perhaps the fanboys made me judge something prior to even trying it. It’s possible, but sometimes my skepticism is proven wrong and I experience is actually something that’s quite good (Chronicles of Riddick, Batman: Arkham Asylum)
In general, I have to experience it myself. The ravings of circlejerking fanboys make me skeptical, and to an extent, reluctant to approach it. But I rarely write off something as bad until I get to see it for myself, otherwise I’d just be ignorant.
EDIT: I really don’t see it. I’ve tried really hard to think of any group of fanboys that I’d consider to be the most horrible and loudest. But I just can’t. If anything I’d give the cake to 360 fanboys because I’ve ran into so many of them, and I’ve seen them to be most rock-stupid with the spelling skills equal to elbow dropping a keyboard. Even with that, I still don’t think any 1 group of fanboys is significantly worse than the other.
