Ebay Seller Told Me That I Still Haven’t Paid The Item?

I purchased the item last night, and I’m pretty sure that I’ve transferred the payment through PayPal to the seller.
But this morning, I got an email from eBay telling me that I still need to pay for the item. So I told myself that i might be wrong last night, and sent another payment. And all I’m getting back is,
”We are processing your payment of £**** through PayPal. You will receive an email receipt shortly. For more information about your purchase, visit My eBay.*
However, there’s neither transfer records from last night and today in my PayPal account (transfer list).
So I told the seller if he has received the payment, and he replied, no.
Then I did another transfer just now, and still nothing.
So guys, please help me, what should I do now? Should I wait and is this normal? Because I’ve used PayPal for quite some time now, but there wasn’t any issue before this one.
