How Do I Know The Money For The Ebay Item I’m Selling Is In My Bank Account?

By pay online Posted in: paypal

I just recently sold my Nintendo Dsi on ebay. I’m a starter and I heard you need to wait for the item to show up in your Paypal history/transactions made section. But it hasn’t showed up and probably will not. I just received an email from eBay that said “110.00 dollars is in the bank.” How is that possible if it hasn’t been processed through paypal???

If you are new to Paypal, the money can take anywhere from 14-21 days to clear. When you log in to your Paypal account look at the balance, if the balance shows as the $110 then the money is in your Paypal account. Your Paypal account money does not automatically transfer to your bank account, you have to click withdraw at the top of Paypal once the funds are in your Paypal account and then it can take 72-96 hours for the funds to go into your bank account from there.

If you actually got that email you have to question if it’s for real or not. Lots of scammers try to fool new sellers into thinking they’ve been paid.
Look at the email again. Without changing anything about it FORWARD it to spoof@eBay.com If it’s fake they will send you a notice within a few hours.
