Hi,
I moved into an apartment home in columbus ohio on june 1st and started receiving my monthly water bill from guardian water and power on July first week and then every month till october, then all of a sudden they stopped sending my bill , I didn’t receive any bill on November, December and January. I have paid all of the other bills from july to october. I even went on there website and signed in to see maybe they missed to send paper bill in the mail and if I go check it online, I will pay it online.
But my account balance is $0.00 . it does not show any bill.
I don’t know what to do, should I call Guardian water an power or apartment manager , wait for one more month or don’t call them.
Any advise??



Did you set up the account with Guardian when you moved in? Then call them and ask why you have not received bills.
If you did not set up an account and the bills just came automatically, call the apartment management first. It could be that the apartment has contracted with a different company to do the billing for water. Or it could be some paperwork snafu. I suggest you follow up that call with something in writing to cover yourself just in case. Hopefully, you have the funds available to pay 3 months worth of water bills.
I would call BOTH the water company AND the apartment manager to find out what happened. It is not unusual for water to be included in your rent. On the other hand, You DON’T want to have them send you a bill for 6 months all at once and demand payment immediately.
YES call the water company immediately and find out why you haven’t been billed. They might have sent the bills to the wrong address and the bills will keep adding up.
Call them and DON’T wait otherwise service will be turned off and it will cost extra to restore service. Next time you call immediately you don’t wait months.
My leasing company pays for the water bill, but that was the case from the get-go.
Maybe somone is paying it 4 u! Call andjust ask for previous balances!
