After all, the demographic proportion of elderly Americans is exploding, with the Baby Boomers aging. And health care costs are skyrocketing, and the Tea Party wants to add fuel to the fire by cutting back on Medicare payments (such as Paul Ryan!)
Unless nursing homes miraculously decide to work for free, and end up with all these new beds, a lot of seniors will have nowhere to turn. Similarly, an overburdened hospital system can’t keep up with the rampant demand, and will turn them away too.
The Tea Party won’t have death panels to kill grandma.
They’ll instead leave grandma to die out in the streets like a stray dog.
All so Goldman Sachs doesn’t have to pay a penny more in taxes.

    1. If the democrats did not insist on Medicare covering everything from Viagra to female sterilization (for ELDERLY women), maybe there would not be a need for cuts.

    Yes, the “tea party” would have grandma and grandpa sleeping under the bridge. But the good news is the “tea party” will not get its way. Most Americans are wise to the fact that the “tea party” is the Koch brothers and Fox Gnus.

    Actually, no would be the correct answer. We have ways of doing things to obtain fiscal responsibility and smaller government, while still making sure grandma is warm, fed and cared for. Give us a try, go to some meeting with an open mind. We don’t bite. Don’t forget your lawn chair!

    Obama cut $500 billion from Medicare. He threw them into the networks last Dec.
    You need to look this stuff up.

    Well i see you have not read the health care bill which takes 5.5 million from medicare. Obama health care bill is very clear those same citizens you say will be sleeping under a bridge will be pushing up daisy as he wants them to take a pill and go home (heaven)
    No one in the republican party is talking of taking anything from medicare for those currently on it or those who will be on it in the next ten years but they do want to correct the system by giving those of you who will be there in more than ten years to plan for yourself. There is nothing wrong with that. Do you really think its going to survive when china cuts the credit.

    For one, they will NEVER get their way. Ideologues historically are not very effective leaders. Two, if they do, we will be a third world country, with rich and poor and no middle class.
