If You Order Something Online, Can You Pay The Delivery Man At The Door?

   Not really. I haven’t seen any items offered with COD ( Collect On Delivery ) for many years! People just aren’t honest enough any longer! A merchant isn’t going to pay shipping charges to get the package to a customer and then have the customer decide they don’t really want the merchandise and not accept delivery so the merchant has to pay again to have the package returned to them. I can’t remember the last time I purchased something that was COD.

   Very few companies allow COD. I have never seen it offered from a major company. There will always be an extra cost for the service. The shipping company must send the money to the seller. Most stores do not want the trouble.

   No. On most sites, you will have to pay using a credit card or online transaction account before they even begin shipping the product.

   No, it’s very rare that any company ships COD anymore. It’s too much trouble for everyone involved.

   Look at it this way-
   If you ordered something from Amazon, why would you pay the ups guy?
