I already have a credit card but I always use most of the balance even though i have never made
a late payment. but i did hear that that is not a good thing to do.
should i get another credit card and distribute the total amounts i spend on one card to two?
thanks!

As a rule of thumb you should stay under 50% of your credit limit each month in order not to impact your credit score. You can either call your credit card company and ask them to raise your credit limit or go ahead get another card. If you are good at always making your payments on time then another card wont hurt.
If you do want another credit card I would use a website where you can search and compare the latest credit card offers. I have used http://www.casavvy.com/credit-cards in the past. They also have an awesome Q+A section as well, if you have any questions.
Maxing out that card will lead to doing the same on another.
Pay that one down…give it a couple years of clean history & timely payments, then if you want another card, try for another. You’ll be eligible for a better card with a better limit & lower interest rates.
do not get another card make a payment to bring your reported balance under 30% before the statement date. this will show activity and proper utilization rates
