I’m a new member so I don’t know much about how the payment works. eBay suggested that I should make an account with “PayPal”, so the seller doesn’t see my information. But I payed with my debit card with”eBay buyer Protection”, I would like to know if one is different than the other and if THE SELLER CAN SEE MY CARD NUMBER OR HAVE ACCESS TO STEAL MY MONEY?
P.S. After I bought the book I saw the seller’s address on the screen along with his email, can he see mine?

and if THE SELLER CAN SEE MY CARD NUMBER OR HAVE ACCESS TO STEAL MY MONEY?
If the seller doesn’t see your card number, how do you expect him to withdraw the money from your account?? If you don’t want this to happen, then set-up paypal.

I don’t know about your e-mail, but of course he can see your address. How else do you expect him to send you the item??
Seller never sees your financial information. That is seen by Paypal only. The seller can see your shipping address and your name only on the Order Details. You gave your debit card number to the seller? Paypal keeps that information private. Paypal processes payments between people. That is all it does.
