I want to sell a few things on ebay but is it worth selling on? I have heard that people can use paypal against the seller and get the item without paying. Also ebay takes some of the money that you earn. so is ebay worth selling on or would it be better to just sell on craigslist?

Paypal and ebay work very well for selling and if you use them both, you should be fine.
They do take a very substantial portion of your sales though, so if the item is ok to sell locally then definitely sell it on Craigslist.
Research the sale prices of the items and then make a decision based on the difference between the sale price on Ebay minus the fees and the sale price on Clist.
If you’re selling quite a few items over a period of time, ebay would be worth selling on. If you’re only looking to get rid of one item though, stick with craigslist because the fees wouldn’t be worth it.
