If you look at the 2000 or 2004 presidential election results by county you will get your proof. The Republican (rural) leaning counties are the producers and the Democrat (mainly urban) are consumers. Dems are also consumers of social services, in fact, Dem politicians always push for more benefits to make more people dependent on government services. There is a tipping point coming, if we haven’t reached it yet where the tax payers can’t pay enough to support all their dependents. Leftists do not watch TV, or at least, they say they don’t.
