Is This A Good Gift For My Boyfriend?

I am currently unemployed =/ (but applying to TONS of places) and am paying for my car payment with what I have in my account.
I barely have enough for that, but theres no way I can not get my boyfriend something for Christmas. He told me he got me more than one thing and from what he hinted at it sounds expensive.
All I can spend is $30 which doesn’t go far=(
I want to make him a gift basket full of men’s grooming stuff, like this Axe cologne he’s been saying he wants, Axe body wash, a nice razor and razor blades, and nice shaving cream.
I all ready bake him desserts at least twice a week so something baked wouldn’t be anything new.
Is this a bad idea? I feel SO bad I really wish I could have more money to spend on him but I dont =(

    I think that’s a great idea. Have you heard anybody say “it’s the thought that counts”?
    Besides, if you already know he likes that cologne, then you already know he’ll like it. The whole basket thing seems sweet too.
    And since you’re unemployed, I think if you tell him something like “I wish I could get you more, but you know how tight I’ve been with money lately since I still haven’t found a job yet. But I’ll promise I’ll make it up to you soon”, he’ll surely understand.

    Depends on your nature as you could just get some massage oil and give him the best time of his life….
    Else homemade gifts can be useful and look expensive. If your good with sewing then make him a comfy cushion out of one of your old shirts and embroider your or his name on it. A unique gift too.
    Else get some, cord, vanilla (or other scent) and beeswax to make him a “funny shaped” candle.
    Then there is the old fall back of clothes like jeans and T-shirts. Get him one with a funny slogan else if you’ve got an inkjet printer you can make your own funny T-shirts…..
    The possibilities of low price, high appreciation gifts is endless.

    Yeah that will work and tell him after he grooms himself you’ll give him an extra special treat in the bedroom.
    By the way, you baking twice a week is not only awesome and makes you a great a girl, its a huge turn on for me. If you and your guy break up please send me an email and i’ll sweep you off your feet.

    That gift basket isn’t going to work because the razor and razor blades alone and shaving cream would cost 30 dollars at some places
