I’m a new member so I don’t know much about how the payment works. eBay suggested that I should make an account with “PayPal”, so the seller doesn’t see my information. But I payed with my debit card with”eBay buyer Protection”, I would like to know if one is different than the other and if THE SELLER CAN SEE MY CARD NUMBER OR HAVE ACCESS TO STEAL MY MONEY?
P.S. After I bought the book I saw the seller’s address on the screen along with his email, can he see mine?

I’m having a bit of trouble with receiving some money from a friend through the Walmart moneygram service. He lives in the U.S, and me in Canada. The reference number that he gave me was 8 digits long, and when I went to fill out the forms I was told it was supposed to be 10 digits. She tried anyway, and the order came up invalid. The only number that was 10 digits long was the PIN number and I also tried that one… not sure what’s going on here but I could use some help into how these things work. I’m certain that the numbers I have are correct, and that he actually sent the money. On the form it asked for a number but it wasn’t called reference or PIN… I forget exactly what it said, but it could have been hold number? Something like that.

And I have purchased a lot from it in the past. No troubles what-so-ever.
Untill last month when I bought something from a seller that had only had an account for less than 30 days and had like 200 items listed. iOffer is a site where you can bargain and give your best “offer” (kinda like eBay, but not really). The seller offered 180$ and I got him to bring it down for 160$. He provided me with a tracking number which I later on found out it was invalid and I waited like a month for my purchase. THANKFULLY, I payed through PayPal and they were able to return my money. As for the seller, he never answered my emails and eventually deleted his account – so that I had no way of contacting him.
Anyways, I want to make another purchase from a different seller, and he is saying that they dont have a PayPal account and can only accept Moneygram, Bank transfer, or Western Union.
Meanwhile, they have no feedback yet, as they are a new seller.
Should I risk it?
If I make the payment through one of the 3 options listed above, is there a way of getting my money back in case the seller tricked me?

Ok im new with online buying. I want to buy an item from a Japanese website i don’t want anything from eBay but i can only buy it if i have PayPal. I have a bank account but if i make a PayPal will it charge me extra fees on just applying? Will they charge me extra when i purchase online? How long dose it take to have money on PayPal? Dose it take a certain number of business days to take money from my bank to be able to use on PayPal? Also can other people (seller) view my account and bank account if i make a PayPal?

I have been seeing things about online surveys and how they pay you for trying products and giving your personal opinions on products. I actually saw something on Oprah about the surveys a while ago. Has anybody actually tried them? What were your experiences and what are the websites? Thank you!

I am trying to make a decision on the following webdesign sites for e-commerce. I have more than 10 items and would like to use google checkout, paypal, and money orders as my payments. My shipping amounts will also very per item.

I received an offer from a youtube user offering to pay me via paypal if I place a link to their amazon account in my video description. I am not sure whether I should do this or not. Could this be unsafe? Could they hack into my paypal or anything? I am not eligible for an Adsense account, so this would be a way to make money from youtube. What do you think I should do?

They are trying to collect for an AARP policy.
