I have just registered with PayPal and attempted to add my Amex card with no success, do they accept it, I was always under the impression they did.

So I live in Virginia, but I recently won top prize in a raffle, a 5 day trip to New Zealand. I am leaving for this trip next week.
New Zealanders are big fans of tattooing and have some of the best tattoo artists in the world, Rivaling places like New York and Las Vegas. I did some internet research, and came up with a laundry list of parlors in Auckland that does not require payment in advance, just a small deposit to secure the appointment.
So my tattoo design will only take 4-5 hours, but due to the extensive colors, will cost at least $1000 US dollars.
So lets say that when I’m in New Zealand, I go to the parlor, put down the 10 % of estimated cost deposit that most parlors require, then get inked up.
But the thing is, they think they are doing two tattoos, another one after my first. But when they finish my first and are ready to start the second tattoo they think they are doing, I have an excuse to “temporarily” exit the building. Such as, “I need to go feed my parking meter” or “I have ashma and need to get my inhaler out of my car.”
Then I exit the building and don’t come back. Then Ive gotten a $1000 plus dollar tattoo for $100.
And so they have my name and address from when they took down my ID before the tattoo. Big whoop, I’m about to go back to the United States, and I seriously doubt that the New Zealand authorities are going to go through the expensive and grueling process of extraditing me all the way back from the US over a stolen tattoo.
Lol could I do that without consequences?

forgot about a credit card payments its been over 7 months that i paid. i changed my phone # and so they also no longer call me. What can happen? im going in asap

I am looking for the 9oz. AVENT baby bottles online. They are pricey but maybe someone can help me find a good deal on them (new.) I paid $35.00 for 6 of them at babies r us and wish I could get them cheaper on here somewhere. Help?

I already have a credit card but I always use most of the balance even though i have never made
a late payment. but i did hear that that is not a good thing to do.
should i get another credit card and distribute the total amounts i spend on one card to two?

For the past few years I’ve been making baby blankets for my friends baby showers. I lived in a small town and walmart was the only place to buy gifts like that. Or travel 3 hours to the nearest city to shop. Or online. But I didn’t want to get just boring pink or blue whatever and it be lost in the sea of other similar items. So when my old collage roomate got pregnant I wanted something special to give her. I decided to make her a custom baby blanket to her tast. We are both country girls and so is her husband so I found a horse print and a hunting dog print and made her an adorable blanket with satin trim. I’ve done unique blankets for several friends and each time someone asks or suggest that I sell them. Materials cost about $20-25 and I’m wanting to sell them online eBay etsy other sites but what will people pay for unique blankets. I’ve done western, horses, dogs, frogs, lizards, John deer, wildlife and even skulls. Yes not a typo skulls pink skulls. which are very popular right now with many women in prime child bearing years. My sister loves the pink skull blankets. Most people want their baby shower gift to stand out and be remembered and my blankets do. So if you were surfing eBay or whatever looking for a baby shower gift or for your nursery and you found something that was perfect for your/their tast or theam what would you pay.

I really want to purchase a MacBook, but buying one brand new seems outrageous. I’ve been looking at some on eBay. I am familiar with eBay, and have purchased several things on eBay using PayPal, but never a purchase as big as a computer. Is it a bad idea to buy a used MacBook on eBay? What would happen if I received the computer and it didn’t work?

I’ll keep this as brief as possible, but it’s a pretty odd situation:
I own a small business (sole proprietorship) that I run from my home.
My adult daughter, son-in-law, grandson, son and son’s girlfriend are all currently living with me.
My daughter pays my son’s girlfriend to babysit for her son while she works for me in my business.
Questions:
How should the payments for childcare to my son’s girlfriend be handled? If my daughter claims the childcare expenses on her tax return, then the girlfriend has to claim it as income, making her a contractor – and responsible for the employment taxes. Girlfriend will only be making $4800 a year, so we’re not talking even minimum wage here – more like a payment-in-kind situation, where she lives with us, doesn’t pay rent, but babysits for a reduced rate so my daughter can work. I don’t want to put the girlfriend in a situation where she has to pay taxes out of her pocket on that money, so I’m wondering if I should pay her as an employee of my business and take the taxes out…but then that changes the childcare situation in terms of my daughter paying her and being able to claim the childcare expense on her taxes – so that doesn’t seem like a solution, either.
Part 2:
Can *I* claim last year’s childcare expenses on my taxes, if I don’t claim my grandson as a dependent? He lived here most of the year, and I provided his support for about half the year, but then daughter got married, moved out, and then all 3 of them moved back in a couple of months later. I paid about $2000 in daycare for my grandson out of my own pocket while he lived here. I am not claiming him as a dependent, because my daughter got married in October, and her husband has been providing their support since then.
I just want to handle this properly, so we don’t end up having any issues with the IRS. I realize it’s not your average situation. This is just the first time I’ve been in a situation like this. I’d appreciate any knowledgeable help that can be offered.

I will be receiving my new iPhone 4S in the mail. I am very excited to finally leave the prepaid crowd, but I need to know when is my first payment with Sprint due? Do I need to make my first month’s payment when activating my phone or after the first month of use?
