What’s The Cheapest Way To Sell Digital Media?

By pay online Posted in: paypal

All I want to do is sell personalized enhanced photos. One file at a time to one individual customer at a time. I thought PayLoadz was going to work for me, but turns out they are affiliated with PayPal. I have heard horror stories about paypal, so I would like to avoid them if at all possible. ANY suggestions??
Thank you.

have been using Paypal for 10 yrs with no problems – buying and selling all kind of things including digital products
only suggestion for a custom business like yours is probably your own website – no way of getting around “monthly fees” or payment processing fees – you work those costs into your product pricing
since it’s a digital product, your initial gross profit margin should be 90+% – why would you complain about paying 20% for sales commission and credit card/paypal fees? it;s still going to be the cheapest business model you will find
every retail store in the world that accepts debit or credit cards pays a fee on every transaction – It’s part of being in business – you want the convenience of those services, you have to pay for them
you can sell on ebay and not pay any “monthly fees” – list it as a 30 day “BUT IT NOW” sale (with a quantity of 99) – depending on what you charge, the actual listing fee will probably only be $1-2 for a whole 30 days, then if you make any sales, there will be a sales fee and a Paypal fee – you contact the winner with instructions on getting the photo to you – and charge shipping if a physical photo is being sent to you and they want it back
what you do for ONE customer will NOT be available to anyone else, unless you emailed it to someone else – not sure what you meant by that statement at the end of the “Additional details”
you just list your “Service” – buyer emails you the photo, you enhance it and email it back

Have you tried amazon? I’m not sure how selling amazon actually works as I only buy off there. However it might be worth a look.
