Will Amazon Always Take This Much Out?

By pay online Posted in: payment

Recently I have been selling things on Amazon and have recieved £100 in total. I checked my payments on Amazon and it said they had taken out £35 of fees. Which is almost half of what I earned. Will they always take this much out or is it just a temporary thing?
(I have started my Amazon account recently, if that makes a difference)

    Yes.

Amazon’s fees are quite high. BUt they take charge of collecting the money and verifying it for you, and that is most definitely worth something.
eBay does not get involved with the payment or verification of money, which greatly increases the risks of buying/selling on eBay.
I find that, despite the high fees, Amazon does a great job. I intend to continue using them.
If you do not want to pay the fees, you can always try eBay, eBay classifieds, or your local Craigslist.

yes they are coming to charging you to pay for using it and the price is actually going up instead of down
